Overview

The HR Business Representative Senior will provide generalist support with multiple business locations, sites, countries, and/or leaders. The key role is to assist in the execution of HR programs and processes that build organizational and leadership capability to meet business needs. Candidates must demonstrate and apply their expertise across HR areas including workforce planning, employee relations, labor law and compliance, training, compensation, benefits, HR metrics and analytics, HR processes, policies and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for HR policies/processes establishment, maintenance and updates including employee handbook, disciplinary book, ER guidance etc.
  • Acts as the escalation contact point from HR Service Center regarding any compliance related queries including but not limited to social securities, local policies, and regulations in all cities in China etc.
  • As a country expert to work with regional SME for the rewards, talent acquisition, T&OD, etc. activities. Provides advice to Regional HR business partners on country regulations/ policies and practices.
  • Ensure HR policies are compliance to local legislation and practices.
  • Responsible for government survey, reporting and filing, etc.
  • Responsible for external and internal auditing.
  • Provides coaching, training and communication to the managers/employees for the HR knowledges, policies and processes as required.
  • Provides advice and support to managers on employee relations issues.
  • Ensure HR matters handled fairly and consistently in line with legal and company’s requirements
  • Handle complains, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings
  • HR Representative for cross-functional site events:
    • g. facility integration activities,
    • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities,
    • Championing the organization's values and culture
  • Lead/complete global and regional HR projects as assigned.
  • Other HR tasks such as benefits program administration, performance management processes, training coordination etc. as assigned.

Qualifications

Key Competences:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource or equivalent professional qualifications with minimum of 5 years of HR experience. Strong understanding of employment law
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, ability to build good business relations internally and externally.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficient user of Microsoft Word and Excel and numerically inclined.
  • Able to analyze and present information effectively
  • Demonstrable experience in managing redundancy, employee relation issues or other relevant HR projects
  • Meticulous, detailed, well-organized, and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Result oriented, able to prioritize and manage deliverables with multiple deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Must be flexible, collaborative and able to take initiative in finding solutions to difficult and sensitive issues
  • Able to work effectively with all levels of employee
