  • Do you have a passion for imaging technologies? The Data Capture team within the Enterprise Mobile Computing (EMC) division is a crucial part of Zebra's mission to be the number one provider of enterprise solutions. The Senior Product Manager within EMC will help drive the strategy of our Scanning and Camera Imaging offerings, leading solution definitions, positioning, pricing and lifecycle management of our data capture solutions supporting the entire EMC hardware portfolio. This Individual is responsible for leading interaction with every organization responsible for the development, production, marketing, sales and service in order to assure successful business results across our product lines as a result of satisfying customer data capture needs.

    • Conducts market, customer and competitive analysis in order to understand customer data capture needs across the EMC portfolio
    • Converts analysis into a coherent market requirements that defines both hardware and software function including functionality and feature prioritization, cost, sales volume and profitability expectations and expected competitive response
    • Partner with engineering to identify & articulate technology requirements for a wider range of technical teams to deliver next generation 
    • Works with the Data Capture Solutions Team to define requirements for next generation imaging solutions, 
    • Analyzes and interprets go to market requirements including geographical customer and market differences, channel partner needs, including end user and partner pricing requirements
    • Articulates product positioning in terms of Zebra inter-line logic as well as competitive positioning
    • Works with Device Product Managers to ensure new product development aligns to the overall Data Capture Strategy to ensure successful product launch
    • Envision opportunities for continuous improvement in data capture areas such as improved image capture, OCR, and barcode scanning, argue for them and lead them into reality by collaborating with a variety of domain leaders
    • Deeply understand current business priorities, collaborating cross-functionally to arrive at next generation solutions that will improve our Imaging Solution Capabilities & Uniquely Position Zebra


Preferred Education: Master’s degree preferred


Preferred Work Experience (years): 8-12 years of experience
