Overview

Program Managers are responsible for the successful launch of Zebra's products and services to market.

We are looking for a Program Manager who is very customer-focused and has a passion for driving the end-to-end development of solutions that go above and beyond through Scaled Agile Framework

Responsibilities

  • Team leadership for scaled Agile cross functional innovation teams. Contribute to and promote the development of agile skillset and capabilities within Zebra.
  • Execute multiple programs simultaneously utilizing Scaled Agile Framework and modern project management methodologies to ensure maximum project efficiency.
  • Prioritize and lead scrum teams as an Agile scrum master (SM) or a release train engineer (RTE)
  • Prioritizes and presents business, technical and program reviews/status to Senior Leadership using digital media, dashboards and JIRA agile project management tools.
  • Coordinate, present, and document technical and program reviews/status to Senior Management.
  • Execute to program plan and budgets for multiple, large projects. Recommend corrective actions and implement changes. Identify and mitigate risks; develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
  • Empower a project team to ensure solutions are reliable and of quality, in a highly collaborative fashion
  • Define critical initiatives to align the business to agile product development. Work closely with Portfolio Management to ensure strategic goals align and are represented in the innovation feature roadmap. Assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.
  • Demonstrates the ability to see cross-functional impacts of decisions and project plans and execution. Balances scope, schedule, and budget considerations to adjust the project with minimal impact to the business. Understands the business objectives of the program and assumes personal accountability for success of the program against those objectives.
  • Master's degree with  8-12 years experience including minimum 2 years as team lead/supervisor
  • Intermediate to advanced communication and facilitation skills. Formal training preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced presentation skills. Demonstrated comfort in presenting to mid to senior level cross functional audiences
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of advanced concepts with program management approaches, tools and methodologies. PMP certification preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in PC based documentation tools including MS Office and MS Project
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in delegation and follow up
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge/experience of technical business unit assigned to (Hardware, Software, Services, etc.)
