The Supply Chain Planner-Senior will support the Material planning process for a global business. The Demand Planning team is responsible for providing/maintaining/updating material demand forecast for parts used in Zebra’s & 3rd party’s operations. Supply requirements are moderated by the team to ensure that inventory positions are appropriate to meet the demand requirements relative to forecasted levels, inventory on order and in transit to/from distribution centers, product life cycle, quality, and special customer requirements and /or projects. The team cooperates with Regional Demand Planners, Buyers, Operations, Order Management, Logistics, Finance, Helpdesk and Customer Experience Management teams.






  • Work with regional Demand planning, Repair Operations and CEMs (Customer Experience Manager to review new Service contracts and contracts renewals to ensure material availability for repairs)
  • Report KPIs to regularly evaluate the health of Inventory;
  • Coordinate material redistribution between DCs (distribution centers) and regional repair centers to ensure material availability and minimize inventory excess
  • Manage LTB (last time buy) qty – gather relevant data to calculate best possible qty of parts needed to support repairs through EOSL
  • Coordinate efforts to source End of Life/Obsolete material to meet contractual obligations till End of Service Life of hardware devices
  • Facilitate the cross-functional process by proactive feedback and proposals for improvement to ensure internal alignment/joint actions and as a result maximum level of support for Customer
  • Actively look for alternate solution to prevent/resolve parts shortages and minimize inventory excess
  • Develop and share Best Practices in Material Planning, assets management and Customer service support
  • Drive Lean & cost saving activities


    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Business, Supply Chain, Finance and related field experience preferred
    • 5-8 years experience
    • International Supply Chain experience in service and/or manufacturing a plus
