Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains software for the organization's products and systems. Performs system integration of software and hardware to maintain efficiency and program consistency. Develops, validates, and tests: structures and user documentation. Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Resolve and develops approach to solutions. Have experience of Java, Spring, Docker, Relational Database and Mongo DB. Knowledge of Scala, Python, Apache Spark and any ETL tool like NIFI.

 

Responsibilities

  • Establishes requirements for moderately sophisticated software design projects. Prioritizes features to insure the most important get implemented
  • Completes all phases of moderately sophisticated software design projects. Carries out all in-process and final inspection activities
  • Develops and tests documentation for the software projects
  • Considers the latest technologies and innovative ways to designs and implementation of new designs
  • May develop new tools to aid in the analysis and solving of problem
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Networks with senior, internal and external, personnel in own area of expertise. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an IT-related field, or the equivalent of education from BITS / IIT’s / NIT’s/Reputed colleges.
  • Total of 4 - 6 years of experience in software development.
  • At least 2 - 3 years of recent hands on experience in the following technologies.
  • Core Java
  • Spring
  • Hibernate
  • Servlets
  • Web Services
  • HTML/ HTML5
  • CSS / CSS3
  • Python
  • NIFI
  • At least 2 - 3 years recent hands on experience in using an RDBMS (preferably Oracle, DB2, MSSQL Server, MySQL) and in Understanding and Writing SQL Queries.
  • Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability
  • Must be flexible and able to "think outside the box".
  • Strong understanding of impact analysis and effective software change management (SCM) and control.
  • Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Development
  • Ability to implement and follow programming standards.
  • Solid understanding of system development life cycle methodology.
  • Must be able to work as a member of a team and independently.
  • Ability to multi task and good time leadership skills
  • Proven ability to write concise technical documentation.
