This is an opportunity to join a growing team in a dynamic new business opportunity within Zebra. The team will be working on a “green field” enterprise application that implements key business processing logic for many different customers.

you should have exceptional foresight, great communication skills, working knowledge of different engineering disciplines and how they relate to one another, and an aptitude for managing risk. Ideally, candidates will have proof of their supervisory and technical skills, and an appreciation for the complex nature of the industry.




  • Understand product portfolio and actively contribute to roadmap / strategy
  • Engage with stakeholders across the org to deliver on technology priorities and strategy
  • Proposing and managing budgets for projects.
  • Supervising the work of multiple teams including our vendors/contractors for development
  • Planning and executing strategies for completing projects on time.
  • Determining the need for training and talent development.
  • Hiring contractors and building teams.
  • Providing clear and concise instructions to engineering teams
  • Work as a Scrum master team to manage team sprints 
  • Ensure Resource Loading of Scrum team is complete and accurate
  • Monitor Story Delivery and provide details on dependencies
  • Work with team to decompose and estimate Feature during planning
  • Contribute technically to the team – Minor feature development, bug fixes etc


  • Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent and must have 15 Years of overall experience and proven record of leading and managing a minimum team of 10 Technology Team members
  • Well verse in developing applications leveraging Java Stack, UI Technologies (ReactJS, Angular, JQuery), Web Services, Design Patterns & Cloud Platform enablement with engineering focus
  • Take ownership of delivery and manage multi release projects in AGILE (Scrum, Scaled Agile)
  • Provides technical direction to the project team: lead and participate in design discussions, writing code and code reviews. Work closely with the team to develop appropriate technical design and approach for application development
  • Ability to actively engage business/technology partners, present, defend & challenge technical recommendations
  • Instill best practices for software development and documentation
  • Able to provide effort estimates, identify resource needs, and enforces project and delivery standards
  • Create accurate project plans, schedules, and ensure efficient allocation of resources
  • Ability to deal with ambiguities effectively
  • Manage team with focus on enhancing their technical/ domain skillsets.
  • Motivate team members and promote a strong sense of code quality, extensibility, reusability, and urgency
  • Strong demonstrated people development skills to hire, coach, develop, and mentor team members.
  • Pro-actively identify talent needs, and plan for/ manage attrition
  • Build a culture of continuous improvement within team and put together metrics to measure the impact of their efforts



  • U.S. Only:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline preferred.
    • Bachelor's +6 years experience
    • Masters +4 years experience
  • All other Regions:
    • Bachelors or Masters degree in an appropriate engineering discipline
    • 6 years
