Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains test tools to validate product and system performance. Performs tests and analyzes results through diagnostic programs. Works with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to resolve issues detected through testing.


  • Establishes requirements for moderately complex test design projects
  • Completes all phases of moderately complex test design projects
  • Leads test processes and delivers results to necessary stakeholders
  • Analyzes results, and recommends solutions to moderately complex problems
  • Develops expected results for retesting on a variety of products
  • Develops documentation for new testing projects and reviews previous testing results
  • Considers latest technologies and new approaches to tests, tools, and testing protocols
  • Reviews changes or upgrades to existing tests, tools, and testing protocols
  • May develop new tools to aid in the analysis and solving of problems
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions


  • 4 to 6 years of proven experience.
  • Bachelors or master’s degree, preferably in an IT-related field, or the equivalent of education from BITS / IITs / RECs.
  • Quantitative and problem solving skills
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, independent, detail oriented, positive and with a can do attitude.
  • Strong understanding of software concepts and ability to quickly grasp new products and technologies.
  • High-level problem-solving skills, and the ability to project manage Knowledge of defect management process
  • Should know the variety of testing efforts.
