Software Engineer, II

The Req is opened in Software Tools team in DCS team in Sri Lanka. The selected candidates will start working as Software Engineers  in one or more areas like Windows, iOS, Android and Linux environments developing software tools, applications and SDKs.

• Completing all phases of Software Life cycle including Requirements gathering, Designing, Developing, Testing  and Maintaining software development kits, tools and applications.
• Start developing software in C/C++, Java, C#, Objective C etc.
• Start working in envronments like iOS,Widows, Linux and Android etc.
• Design, develop and maintain related test suits and frameworks.
• Create customer facing software documentation and conduct product trainings.
• Work with software teams in other countries like India and USA
• Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues.
• Insures compliance with quality process and standards
• Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical engineering or Information Technology
• 0 to 2 years industry experience
• Experience in one or more in the following areas
• Programming skills in Swift and Objective C
• Programming experience with C/C++ in Linux platform
• Programming experience with Java in Android environment
• Programming experience with C/C++, .Net/C# in windows platform
• Experience with Barcode scanners, RFID reads, UPOS, OPOS, JavaPOS, Xamarin is a plus
• Experience in BT, USB, Git/Gerrit, Agile is a plus
