Hardware Test Engineer, II

Analyzes, develops, designs, and maintains test tools to validate product and system performance. Performs tests and analyzes results through diagnostic programs. Works with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to resolve issues detected through testing.

Develops and executes experiments and performance test to assess performance, safety and reliability of selected Lithium ion cells and battery packs.

Conducts safety production audit to Lithium ion cell factories in southern China and manage their sustaining stage with Safety audit engineer.

• Designs, develops, and tests on a variety of testing assignments that constitute portions of larger projects
• Develops test documentation describing specific test functionalities
• Runs system tests designed by more experienced engineers
• Reviews test results and performs root cause analyses to identify problems
• Provides recommendations and implements solutions to complex issues
• Ensures compliance with quality process and standards
• Makes changes and upgrades to existing systems. Enhances and improves existing technologies to apply to new solutions
• Makes recommendations to immediate team to enhance performance and improve productivity and implements recommendation
• Seeks out new tools to analyze and solve problems
• Exercises best judgments within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions
• Receives and executes general instructions on routine work, new projects,or assignments
• May provide guidance to non-exempt personnel
• Builds productive working relationships internally and externally
• Functions primarily intra-organizationally,with occasional inter-organizational and external customer interactions on routine matters

• Bachelor's or Master’sdegree in an appropriate engineering discipline preferred
• 2+ years experience preferred
