Overview

This position will be supporting to the design and development of enterprise-class mobile computing devices within the audio/acoustic engineering team.

Responsibilities

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:

  • Working with ME, EE, SW, and Manufacturing teams to create designs that meet audio and product requirements.Helping product team make appropriate trade-offs where necessary
  • Working closely with ME, MFG and JDM’s to identify good manufacturing practices and solve issues, onsite, when problems occur
  • Use tuning tools to set gains and tuning values.
  • Engaging in advanced development activities to prepare innovations in product concepts and audio subsystem components.
  • Writing technical specifications.
  • Leading and contributing to product design reviews.
  • Maintaining acoustic lab capabilities.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in an appropriate engineering discipline required
  • 2+ years experience
