The Role:

This role is responsible for the identification, recruitment, activation, enablement, and development of vertically focused software development partners (ISVs) which build applications servicing Zebra’s targeted customers in a variety of different vertical markets.

 

In addition, this person will drive the sales teams’ awareness of these ISVs and ensure the right ISV partner portfolio to optimally co-sell into the assigned verticals. The success of the role will be measured on a combination of ISV influence revenue, and MBOs related to ISV-management best-practices.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, recruit, activate, collaborate, and develop vertically focused ISV partners with strong enterprise mobility value proposition.
  • Align with our Vertical Industry team members and strategy teams to determine short list of strategic ISV recruits to enable our success in selected verticals.
  • Collaborate closely with and coordinate ISV engagement with other members of the APAC team, particularly the SEA/ISC CHAMs, TAMs and SEs
  • Maintain ISV-relationships and engagement in key aspects of ISV program according to each ISV’s potential value to Zebra. Lead/co-ordinate elements of the programme within SEA/ISC including:
    • Influence Rewards – promote to ISVs to extract pipeline
    • Drive joint go-to-market activities, utilizing Market Development Funds (MDF).
    • Improve ISV partner value and facilitate the ISV/Zebra relationship.
    • Enable ISV partner growth, readiness & capability.
    • Position the partner appropriately within Zebra as well as the greater partner ecosystem.
  • Educate ISV Partners on Zebra products and offerings. Establish a joint technology roadmap and regular activity review, including Collaboration plan and marketing activities.
  • Provide regular reports/dashboards to Sales Management to demonstrate impact of the ISV partner channel
  • Report on success metrics, and develop into regional ISV reporting.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Experience: 5+ years-related experiences in Channel Partner Management
  • Experience in the ISV/software field, and knowledge of the business models that ISVs operate under and how those business models fit into our eco-system would be beneficial.
  • Possess appropriate level of mobile application software and solution knowledge
  • Consistent track record in partner management or channel sales/marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, relationship-building and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organization, and planning skills, with ability to energize and engage direct ISV prospects.
  • Ability to build partnership with both internal and external groups as well as skilled in conflict management capabilities focused on win results for all involved parties.
  • Effective time management and task prioritization when under pressure
