The Role:

Act as the leader in sales management, directly leading Account Managers, Channel Managers, Sales Engagement Managers, etc. Personal objectives typically defined as a "roll-up" of all sales resources reporting to Sales Director. Generally considered an excellent mentor, helping others attain sales success. Understands own product portfolio exceptionally well and knows how to win relative to competition; guides others the same.

 

As with all management, embodies One Zebra ahead of personal achievements. With the ability to establish operational objectives and sales plans and delegate assignments to subordinates. Involved in developing and executing policies that affect immediate operations and may also have region/company-wide effect. Establishes and manages budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. Able to exercise full supervision in terms of costs, methods, and staffing. The role typically requires a minimum direct sales quota consistent with regional/territory goals.

Knowledge/Expertise

 

  • Technical Skills - Be part of Zebra technical solutions, expressing expertise
  • Knowledge of Zebra - Helps build Business/Industry products/services strategy, often crossing multiple businesses
  • Sales Skills – Leads teams in the development of sophisticated solution-selling concepts and partnership creation; validated sales success only
  • Managerial Skills - Full knowledge of all relevant business policies and practices; strong ability to energize and lead others
  • Eye For Business - Conducts root cause analysis and improves long term profitability in a variety of situations; a S.W.O.T. specialist; anticipates future customer needs
  • Market/customer Knowledge – Applies both strategic and tactical understanding of markets to ensure Zebra wins in the marketplace

Solution Complexity/Critical Thinking

  • Nature of Problems Solved – Solves complex problems that may require outstanding solutions that are used across geographies, industries, etc.
  • Role in Addressing Problems – Leads problem resolution, identifies appropriate resources, mitigates future risk
  • The complexity of Solutions – Typically high complexity; many with little precedent and often crosses international borders
  • Level of Mentorship – Determines and pursues courses of action crucial in acquiring desired outcomes. Operates with broad autonomy to make decisions that impact sales efficiency and will help meet or hinder business in meeting objectives.

Qualifications

About you:

A leader who can lead, mentor, and be the face for customer interaction. Responsible for decision making on large projects with the highest level of customer interaction. Able to grasp industry direction and strategic customer plans for future planning. A strong motivator to the team to successfully achieve results and make a substantial significant impact on business. Experienced resource support and responsible for revenue, margins, and department expenses. Strategic Impact for Zebra – High in near and mid-term.

 

You should possess proven track record in developing teams and exhibits empowerment. Bachelors or equivalent experience; with a more than 12 years of relevant working experience with at least 5 years of leading a team. Have an excellent technical understanding of Zebra products
