  • Overview

    The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for designing, analyzing, and contributing to the pipeline management and forecasting processes to enhance sales and supply chain excellence. The Sales Operations Analyst collects, analyzes and interprets a wide variety of data from various stakeholders, including field sales, product management, and demand planning to provide a 180-day consolidated pipeline view that will be used to aid the demand planning and financial revenue forecasting processes. This role also monitors and publishes key KPIs and performs critical analytical support to aid the sales management team to identify issues and drive improvement in the sales process.


    • Provide monthly pipeline reports to demand planning as part of monthly demand forecasting cycles. Participate in regional demand planning reviews and provide sales representation.
    • Provide outside-in market view and research to ensure overall strategy is setup for future growth, market condition and competitive assessments
    • Partner with Senior Leadership to strategize and operationalize growth plans
    • Develop and set individual and team goals
    • Monitor organization performance through the tracking of Corporate Performance Indicators and Statistics for Senior Management
    • Analyze and solve real-time problems with various stakeholders in the business as well as functional teams
    • Plan and execute the weekly, monthly and quarterly cadences to help leaders successfully drive business
    • Interface with product management to understand product roadmaps and advise sales, as appropriate, of alternatives to products selected for deals depending on availability and deal timing.
    • Triangulates price concession approval, opportunity management and price concession credit data to help close the loop or identify discrepancies for sales forecasting and demand planning purposes.
    • Develops and analyzes metrics/KPIs and diagnostics regarding pipeline accuracy, win/loss, deal conversion rates, sales forecasting and other efficiency and effectiveness metrics to aid in sales process and headcount efficiency improvements.
    • Developing, maintaining and managing analytics to support the region sales team with sales data
    • Datamining from various systems/ sources to create data sets 
    • Generate highly functional business reports from multiple data sources. 
    • Develop an in-depth understanding of our data sources, tables and data relationships and identify opportunities to improve reporting
    • Participate in creating useful reports & publish dashboard within organization Business Intelligence needs


    • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or Business-related focus 
    • 3 – 5 years of experience in reporting or analytics or data mining role 
    • Experience/ background working in a sales operations or business operation role 
    • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
    • Experience with Point of Sales Reporting and working with Siebel will be an advantage.
    • Demonstrated ability to managed and meet assignment deadline 
    • Display strong verbal and written communication skills; communicates effectively and develops strong relationships with all levels of leadership and staff
    • Exceptional analytical skills & the ability to communicate results in a clear business context
    • Experience in Sales Force or similar CRM tool and producing intelligent trending & forecasting information
    • Multi-tasker with the ability to equally execute on strategic initiatives and tactical project plans
    • Effective influencer of business decisions with the ability to give and receive feedback Project Management skills
    • Excellent business acumen
