  • Overview

    The role of the system engineer is to assist the Technical Enablement Solutions Team and product teams in the conceptualization, construction, replication, deployment, documentation, simplification, execution, accessibility and life-cycle maintenance of demonstration solutions and other sales tools for the purposes of demonstrating the unique value of our comprehensive product portfolio to our customers and partners.


    • Program coordinator for the on-boarding, distribution, support and life cycle management of demo Solutions working with internal and external product teams for the purposes of demonstrating the unique value of our comprehensive product portfolio to our customers and partners.
    • Design, build, integrate and maintain demonstration solutions and infrastructure (for field sales, events/tradeshows, the company’s briefing centers, etc.) ensuring enhanced customer engagements and accelerating sales.
    • Compose comprehensive set of associated documentation, training materials, scripts, setup guides, etc. to allow for quick deployment with minimal set-up time and user experience.
    • Package mobile-computer software for distribution from a mobile-device-management platform to facilitate quick and flawless device deployment.
    • Provide technical expertise, guidance and/or support for all our customer-facing venues (customer visits, events/tradeshows, briefing centers) and other sales tools
    • Provide phone and remote-administration technical support to briefing centers and events/tradeshows.
    • Manage day-to-day operations and logistics for preparing and delivering demo solutions and tools into the field.
    • Maintain and improve lab and remote-site infrastructure.
    • Develop custom software to ensure intellectual-property protection and predefined expiration periods for virtual-machine demo solutions.
    • Develop custom for the demo depot and other TEST programs to drive process efficiencies for TEST and sales teams; and increase sales


    • Preferred Education:
      • A bachelor’s degree in computer science with minor in electrical engineering is required.
    • Preferred Work Experience (years):
      • 5-8 years of applicable work experience
    • Key Skills and Competencies:
      • Demonstrated software development experience in C, C++, C#, ASP and scripting languages is required
      • Demonstrated software development experience on Android, Windows CE/Windows Mobile is essential
      • Experience with mobile computers, RFID devices, scanners, wireless networking infrastructure, wired networking infrastructure, printers and barcode scanners are essential.
      • Demonstrated network architecture and support experience is required
      • Proven program management skills are a must
      • Experience with customer interaction and support is required
      • This position requires a proactive team player with positive attitude, high energy level, and ability to establish rapport and build relationships across internal and external organizations.
      • Proven solution-integration skills required
      • Proven high-level problem-solving skills are a must
      • Working knowledge of VMWare, servers, network infrastructure, wired protocols and wireless protocols is essential
