    POSITION PURPOSE

    A high caliber Finance manager to join Zebra Global Shared Service Finance organization, he/ she will manage talented team to provide excellent finance service delivery to the organization.

     

    Reporting to the Regional Finance Shared Service leader, with dotted reporting into regional functional finance leader, the incumbent will be accountable for key functional scope which includes general accounting, month end close, financial planning & analysis, management accounting & reporting, operations finance, audit, and tax support functions.

    Responsibilities

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Manage Shared Service Finance functions of high performing teams (lead, motivate, support)
    2. Plan and manage team workload allocation across a few finance functional areas Talent development, coach and motivate team, to demonstrate behavior in line with Corporate values, performance meeting internal KPIs
    1. Key leadership role in driving continued operations efficiency. Identify, recommend and implement improvement in financial controls and process.
    2. Lead engagement with both internal and external audit, ensure US GAAP and local compliance, oversee monthly VAT preparation process, preparation of local statutory accounts and support Tax Team in Corporate Income Tax calculations. To oversee month end, quarterly and year end reporting completion in line with ensure provision of accurate and timely information to facilitate enhanced decision making.
    3. To lead and/or participate in special assignment and ad hoc project
    4. To work collaboratively with the broader finance and cross functional teams to support operational decision making and in meeting deliverables of organizational priorities

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    1. University degree in Finance/Accounting plus Professional Accounting qualification in CA/CPA/ ACCA, or equivalent is a must
    2. A qualified accountant with 8 to 12 years’ experience in Financial accounting with experience working in multinational organizations in a matrix structure. Prior audit experience from Big-4 would be advantageous.
    3. Strong leadership& interpersonal skills with 3 to 5 years’ experience managing a team.
    4. Effective communication skills, both written and spoken. Fluency in English, with additional language including Mandarin is advantageous
    5. Ability to prioritize effectively, hands-on with an eye for details, work well under pressure and able to handle multiple requests simultaneously
    6. Natural curiosity for problem solving and strong desire to understand root cause of issues.
    7. Ability to work in a fast and dynamic environment
    8. Strong Excel and Word skills, knowledge of Oracle is advantage

    Knowledge or experience of continuous process improvement methodologies. Strong background on Financial controls and compliance. Generic commercial and business awareness
