Overview

As a Master data management enterprise analyst, you will be required to Design, code, test, debug, and document complex database programs to ensure that data processing production systems meet user needs. The primary focus will be on writing PL/SQL procedures to transform data and configuring matching rules for de-duplicating Customer Data.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify, document and validate data migration requirements
  • Contribute to data migration architecture, technology and strategy
  • Design data migration, cleansing, conversion and validation procedures
  • Map sources, staging and target data architectures to each other including rules and transformations
  • Review existing migration tools and provide recommendations for improving performance of data intensive processes
  • PL/SQL and SQL Tuning and Optimization of newly developed and existing applications
  • Knowledge of Data profiling, Advance Matching using tools like Oracle Enterprise data quality
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
  • Monitor service desk work queue and respond to support issues

Qualifications

  • Preferred Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or related discipline) or equivalent engineering experience

  • Preferred Work Experience (years):
    • 2-5 years of experience
  • Key Skills and Competencies:
    • Advanced database development experience (Oracle SQL/PLSQL) - Must have

    • Strong in Database Schema Design, Optimisation

    • Experience in Shell scripting and programming languages (Java) is an advantage

    • Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise data quality Data profiling, Advance Matching is an added advantage

    • Experience in working with ETL tools is an advantage

    • Good Communication Skills
    • Ability to understand end user issues
    • Technical hands-on experience
    • Able to work independently and excel in a collaborative environment
    • Ability to trouble shoot
    • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable IT systems /applications
    • Ability to develop new systems and tools
    • Experience in documenting and maintaining up to date systems procedures
    • Demonstrated analytical skills
    • Experience in performing in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment
    • Ability to identify and implement process improvements
