The Security Advisor maintains a safe and secure environment for employees by establishing and enforcing security policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for monitoring and guaranteeing a sound, ethical environment, and the ability to identify, investigate or resolve security breaches.


  • Develop and maintain Zebra security and asset protection programs and socially promote these programs as part of the overall business culture.
  • Proactively oversee programs that relate to the organization’s duty of care towards its employees locally, regionally and while traveling.
  • Conduct on-site risk analysis and security assessments to identify and evaluate potential security risks to Zebra.
  • Conduct internal investigations into asset loss, thefts, acts of criminal misconduct, and violations of policy; and act as a point of contact with local and national law enforcement agencies in matters of security and asset protection.
  • Oversee regional contract guard security personnel.  
  • Provide in-depth analysis of the global security environment everywhere Zebra does business.


  • Education Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree
  • 8-12 years of security experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Crisis Management/Ability to respond to potential security threats appropriate
  • Must have the ability to effectively and efficiently work and communicate with all team members. 
  • Must have the appropriate character and discretion to maintain confidentiality in all areas of the business, both personal and professional.
