The Portfolio management team is responsible for determining Zebra’s service offerings and driving development, launch and adoption of services to positively impact the customers’ experience and market share. 


  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of market, competitive landscape, customer requirements, distribution channels and Zebra offerings for assigned product(s) by participating in customer visits, Voice of the Customer (VOC) activities and competitive product analysis. Develops knowledge of product category.
  • Contributes to development and presentation of business case by providing supportive research, drafting slides. Monitor and report business metrics against plan. Contribute to IBP process and other supportive tasks, supervised by senior specialists or product managers. Learns to develop documentation of product and market requirements.
  • Demonstrates product lifecycle knowledge through execution operational elements of product lifecycle management such as advanced sku management process, end of life process and other assignments from PM leadership team. Develops knowledge of development process and methodologies. May assume responsibility for limit-scope projects, such as simple derivatives.
  • Responsible for complete or partial service offer definitions, technical and operational requirement identification and documentation, rallies teams to create the service offer following Zebra’s New Service Introduction (NSI) process, recommends service pricing, coordinates post launch activities such as sales support, bid and quote support and customer presentations. May recommend or contribute to the development of special pricing, rebates or incentives together with the Sales Ops and Marketing teams to promote sales.
  • Works closely with development teams to oversee new service development validating development is on spec. Supports beta site testing under supervision of more senior specialists or management.
  • Participates in program launch activities as part of cross functional team. May be assigned tasks associated with SKU set up, pricing review, ROI model creation, providing marketing collateral input and feedback, conducting training and Webinars and occasional customer presentations
  • Provides sales history and product consumption trend data to more senior level specialists or management. Reviews data to identify market and business trends. Begins to learn P & L Management activities through shadowing.
  • Contributes to innovation by generating ideas for new offerings.


  • Preferred Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree

    • 2-5 years
