  • Overview

    OSx software is one of the value add software on all EMC Android devices. The OSx provides enterprise capabilities to Android Operating system and provides the enterprises with many features that enable them to enhance basic Android to the end user. The candidate should have at least 15 years of experience in embedded domain and last 5 years in Android OS. The person should have lead small team of 8 to 10 persons in the last 5 years. Should have keen interest in Mobile domain and ready to take up challenging work. The candidate should have expertise in Android OS and should be hands on in development. Should have expertise in programming and should understand processor architecture fully. Should know all the development and debug tools in this domain.

    Responsibilities

    • Architects, designs, and supports developing, and testing of OSx. Creates software specifications for the projects. Leads technology roadmap process. Recommends project approach and goals.
    • Champions new thinking and creativity in team members to cultivate and retain top talent. Coaches others on how to effectively develop, communicate, and implement new solutions.
    • Prioritizes quality and seeks out improvements in all aspects of the software projects.
    • Maintains keen awareness of competitor products and development direction to help direct designs to surpass the competition.
    • With other engineering disciplines, develops next generation ideas and solutions to meet client needs before the competition.
    • Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
    • May supervise the activities of others.

    Qualifications

    Degree in Engineering with specialization in Electronics or Computer science with atleast 15 years of experience out of which last 5 years should be in Android OS
