The role of Service Delivery Manager manages the work professional level employees, ensuring that every customer engagement leverages best in class methodology and contributes to building a strong reference customer database. The scope of this position’s responsibility spans regionally but will involve global alignment and works closely with the Global Portfolio and Regional Sales teams to prepare capability to deliver efficiently and scale Zebra’s capabilities for the intended and perceived growth.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manages, oversees and regulates the activities of the delivery function. Ensures all levels of the organization are accountable for the parts which they control and maintains the standards by which the delivery teams measure their success and areas of improvement. Responsible for talent/capability planning to pipeline and initiating acquisition.
  • Responsible for team development activities to support the groups success.
  • Translates directorship vision, corporate and business objectives to enable changes that improve service delivery and provide direction for regional delivery teams.
  • Collaborates with Offer Management, Sales and Product business units to drive regional interlock for new solutions introduction and flawless delivery.
  • Works in coordination with senior leadership and business stakeholders and leverages peripheral functional teams to execute and enable delivery of all aspects of client solution including custom features and add-ons, within established and communicated development.
  • Provides input to and assurers adherence to budgets through operational objectives.
  • Executes and enables budget goals and demonstrates ownership of revenue goals aligned with Sales. Controls expenses and resolves conflicts between competing budget and expense priorities in subordinate units.
  • Ensures alignment of culture and vision for Regional Delivery team while executing strategy and leveraging regional priorities. Institutes timeframes for complex projects and oversees the completion of project and delivery assignments within specified time, quality and cost parameters.
  • Implements leadership initiatives and identifies and executes process improvement and verification activities for function; deploys quality improvement techniques.

Qualifications

  • Ability to interface with management levels across functions
  • Understanding and experience of strategic implementation of process improvements
  • Can synthesize complex data into themes, stories and recommendations
  • Exceptional leadership skills coupled with a desire and ability for continuous learning/ self-development
  • Possesses an understanding of key financial factors
  • Experience leading a team to successful business outcomes through strong talent and performance management practices. Formal management training preferred
