Overview

Zebra’s product software licensing team is actively recruiting for a software developer in response to the growing needs and requirements for adoption of software licensing.  These new requirements include building custom interfaces, creating re-usable modules, developing bots to ensure alignment between databases, and enhancing existing applications with new features based on market need.

Zebra’s product software licensing team is responsible for process and solution expertise related to the development, distribution, and maintenance of end-product software licensing. This includes strong partnership with product development and order management community to meet their current and future business strategies. In addition, the team provides technical and functional leadership in working through issues with other business teams to ensure the best overall customer experience in working with Zebra.

Responsibilities

• Support the Zebra Software Licensing team in the following activities:
• Engage as part of a scrum team, contributing tasks and work effort to user stories within an Agile environment.
• Expansion and enhancement of specific web services for software licensing applications.
• Integration of software licensing utilities and API's to existing customer support and repair portals. 
• Bot Development for data analytics driving business intelligence dashboards and reports.
• System documentation including architectural diagrams, process and data flowcharts, licensing, and roadmaps.
• Analysis of business requirements, design, and development of enhancements or fixes in an Agile developing environment. 
• Interfacing with IT and Business users for requirements gathering, design specification, testing, and communications.
• Interface and coordinate fixes and releases with the in-region, tools and utilities team, on license manager enhancements, fixes and prioritization.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• 4 – 6 years software development experience in an Software Development environment.
• Experience in Java, HTML, CSS, JSP, Servlets, Springboot, Hibernate, Spring Cloud, Spring Integration, Rest Services.
• Full-stack Java web development experience
• Experience working in Agile and scrum development environments
• Experience with Android, Apple iOS, and/or Windows Mobile Software application development and licensing desired.
• Experience with Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture integration, Object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD), and Responsive web design.
• Experience with one or more of JS frameworks preferably Angular, React JS and Typescript.
• Experience in different types of Databases, Relational Databases, and NoSQL Databases
• Experience in CI/CD – Maven, Git, GitHub
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical abilities and Excellent active listening skills.
• Experience working with a global team, and ability to work and act autonomously where appropriate.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage multiple activities concurrently
